Candelabra LED bulbs
Candelabra LED bulbs

These bulbs replace the common household light
bulbs that use
Edison 12(E12) mini screw base.
They are about 8~10 times more efficient than incandescent light bulbs. A 2W LED bulb is about as bright as a 15W incandescent bulb. While that doesn't seem to be very bright, please keep in mind that these bulbs are rated at least 50,000 hours. That's about 50 times longer than an incandescent bulb and about 5 to 10 times longer than a compact fluorescent bulb. Here are a few advantages of a LED bulb:
- Energy efficient.
Converts about 20~30% of electricity into light. In comparison, incandescent bulbs converts only 3~10% of electricity into light and compact fluorescent bulbs converts 12~20% of electricity into light.
- Extremely long life.
You might never need to replace it! These bulbs are
rated for 50,000 hours. That translate into more than 17 years if
you use it 8 hours a day, 365 days a year.-

colors
available at No additional cost. Most of our LED bulbs have a few colors
to choose from. Several models can even change color.
- Immune to frequent ON/OFF (cycling).
Fluorescent bulbs or tubes are very sensitive to ON/OFF cycling while LED
bulbs are immune. In fact, one way of dimming LED lights is to turn it on
and off at high frequency. This will not have an impact on its life.
- Shock resistant and mechanically sturdy.
There's no moving parts. If you drop an incandescent or fluorescent bulb,
they will break. If you drop a LED bulb, the plastic shell might break but
chances are, the bulb will still work. That's one main advantage of Solid
State Lighting.
- Free of hazardous material. Mercury
free, lead free. After many many years of usage, you can just dispose LED
bulbs like regular garbage. There's no hazardous material that needs to be
collected and recycled. If you break a fluorescent tube or bulb, the mercury
vapor will leak and cause health problems. There's no such worries from LED
bulb.
- Absolutely NO UV and IR radiation.
Fluorescent lighting gives out a small amount of UV radiation, and
incandescent lighting turns about 90% of the electricity it consumes into
infrared radiation. LED lighting, on the other hand, gives out no UV or IR
radiation (unless they are specially made as UV and IR emitters). LED flood
lights outdoors will not attract insects. LED lighting indoors will not add
to your cooling bill in summer.
